Carthage Map
Starting in Summer of 2015, a tear-off map showing Carthage and Nauvoo Points of Interest is available at numerous locations around the county, including LDS sites in Nauvoo and the Old Carthage Jail in Carthage. Showing streets and main points of interest, it is hoped this map will help guide visitors around our towns to more than the "normal" sites. See these maps here.
The new City Map is available in many stores, or take a look at it here.
Carthage is located in West-Central Illinois, only 14 miles from the Mississippi River at the Iowa and Missouri borders. As this map shows, Carthage is centrally located, with easy access to major cities in all directions. The following map sources can help you find, and learn, all you want to know about Carthage geography.
