Live and Archived Images
The ER Cam is located above the construction trailer and points WSW towards the Emergency entrance. You can view a live image from this camera at anytime. You may look at the latest picture it took here.
The Front Door Cam is located on a pole north of the main entrance (so the camera is pointed south). You may view live images between 7:00AM and 5:00PM. After hours, you may look at the latest picture it took here. (Note: recent radio problems have impacted reliability. We are working to correct this problem.)
The Construction Site Cam is no longer at the hospital site. It will be relocated to the new Supportive Living Facility at 403 S Adams in Carthage soon, where construction is about to start on that new building.

Time-lapse Videos
Twice a month, we will take archived images from the Trailer Cam and the Front Door Cam, and make a time-lapse movie to show the progress. These movies are on YouTube, or can be downloaded from the following table. CAUTION: Video files are very large (file format and size is shown in the table).

May-July was rainy, but the crews managed to get all the rough dirt work done, including the road and building beds. This video is the first made, and is on a scale 5 times longer than the others (every frame is a minute of the day. All future videos: Every frame is FIVE minutes of the day).

By Aug 5, the bed of the hospital foundation was done. Later in this period, some concrete work starts in the loading dock area (far south end of building).
Aug 16-31
A lot more of the foundation work was done by late August.
Sept 1-15
September should see the finish to the concrete foundation work, if it ever stops raining! These videos show large puddles filling up and drying out in between good productive time...
Sept 16-30
STEEL STARTS GOING UP SEPT 23! Rough-in of plumbing, electrical, etc finishes up.
Oct 1-15
With October comes more steel, and things really start hopping ABOVE ground! We've had a couple rainy days, but overall the weather has been fantastic!
Oct 16-31

during this time, steel is finished, CONCRETE (first pour) is done, rough-in of plumbing continues to patient rooms, and roof joists and HVAC curbs are installed!.
Nov 1-15

Finally, a building is starting to take shape as walls started going up this period! While rough-in of plumbing and other under-ground work continues in the patient rooms area (to the right), concrete has been poured and walls are going up in the radiology and ER areas (to your left). It's nice to see all levels or work going on at the same time!
