HANCOCK COUNTY INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE and EVENTS

Begin your Independence Day celebration with the Hancock County parade in the historic downtown district of Carthage!  With the beautiful Hancock County Courthouse as the backdrop, viewers will enjoy fire trucks, marching bands, floats, novelty groups and much, much more!  After the parade, folks can relax in the shade on the courthouse lawn and enjoy live entertainment, kids' games, and great food! Check out the schedule below and come celebrate our country's independence with us!

Quilt Show Kibbe Hancock Heritage Museum

Kibbe Hancock Heritage Museum will host a Quilt Show from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 4.  Kibbe Hancock Heritage Museum is located at 306 Walnut St., Carthage.

SOAR

Following a quick snack, youth volunteers will read to children and help beginners read aloud. This is a great opportunity for children to practice their reading skills. Children 4 years through 2nd grade are invited to attend.
