Play to Learn at Wow Park

Play to Learn is for children age 0-3 with a caregiver.

Children learn by playing. There will also be stories and songs.

Held at the WOW Park - on Monday mornings from 9:00-10:00 am

Co-Sponsored by Carthage Public Library and Early Beginnings.

Older siblings may also attend. 

Part of the Library's Tails and Tales Library Program.

Teen Book Club

Book Club for Teens &  Tweens (entering 5th - 12th grades), at Friendship Park (next to City Hall on Wabash). Monday mornings at 10:30 am.

Multi-Format Book Club - we will choose a title that is available as a graphic novel, audio book, regular print book, and a movie. Teens will help select the first book at a meeting on May 24 at 11:00 am at the Library. 

During some sessions teens will discuss other books they've read recently (a great way to get recommendations for your next read). At others there will be a craft or a game day.

Library activities at Jaycee Park

Summer Reading Activity Session at the Jaycee Park (take a break from swimming and join us).

Monday afternoons at 2:00 

Stories and crafts geared toward Elementary students. Younger siblings may attend with an adult.

Another identical session for Elementary students will be held on Wednesdays at 9:30 am at the WOW Park - choose the day, time, and location that works best for your family.
