The Historical Society is a great resource for anyone researching the history of Hancock County. Their dedicated volunteers can track down marriages, deaths, births, deeds, and other important family history for you. Housed in the Kibbe Museum (just across the street to the south from the Old Jail), they welcome walk-ins.
