July 4th, 5th, & 6th on the Square in Carthage, Illinois

 

Friday, July 4 (All events on the square in Carthage except fireworks. NOTE: Items in RED are still tentative at this time!)

 

6:30 to 9 a.m. — WWT pancake and sausage breakfast

 

9 a.m. — Music by Tom Roush

 

10 a.m. — Parade (Theme: ** Celebrating 100 Years -- Hancock County Courthouse **)

 

Food, games, activities for the family start after the parade

 

On entertainment stage:

 

11:00 a.m. — Music by Tom Roush (starts after parade)

 

12 noon Presentation of the Colors by Carthage VFW

 

12:05 On Stage: Carthage Community Chorus

 

12:30 p.m.Hypnotist Cheryl Dudley of the Chicago Area

 

1:30 p.m. Center Stage Talent Team

 

1:30 p.m. Registration Begins: Pedal Tractor Pull

 

2:00 pm Pedal Tractor Pull

 

2 p.m. — Carthage Fire Department water fights

 

 

8:30 p.m. (Dark) — Fireworks at high school football field

 

Saturday, July 5(On the square in Carthage)

 

7 p.m. to 12 a.m. — Adult dance featuring “TNT (Music begins at 7:30, earlier than in past years, so come early!)

 

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served ***Must be 21 to enter***

 

Free soda to designated drivers

 

Food available

 

Sunday, July 6(On the square in Carthage)

 

8 a.m. — Community Church Service sponsored by:
